The Heart of the Farm

Lavender farming is a labour of love. Despite having no prior experience, we've embraced the challenge wholeheartedly. Every day brings new lessons and occasional setbacks, but watching our vision come to life makes it all worthwhile. While we still have a long way to go, our dreams are big, and we’re excited to share every step of this journey with you.

Our Vision

Beyond the fields of lavender and herbs, we envision Back Paddock Botanical as a destination. We aim to create an inviting space for locals and tourists alike, offering tours, special events, and even self-contained campsites. We want you to experience the magic of lavender, sunshine, and a little bit of dirt firsthand.

The Lifecycle of the Farm

At Back Paddock Botanical we are passionate about giving back to the environment around us including soil, native flora and fauna. One of the ways we achieve this is by implementing a zero-waste policy, where every part of our lavender plant is used; from first harvest to the eventual death of the plant. The buds are used in our products, the stems are composted and returned to the soil between the rows and at the end of the plants life it will be returned to the earth.
