Camp among the lavender
Our lavender and herb farm welcomes fully self-contained caravans and motorhomes for peaceful farm stays just outside Goombungee.

Endless skies and starry nights
Whether you're waking up to the call of kookaburras or stargazing beside the rosemary, camping at Back Paddock Botanical is a chance to truly immerse yourself in the beauty and stillness of the land.

What to expect
- Fully self-contained sites (toilet required)
- Well-spaced, flat sites around the lavender
- Group camping area for up to 8 vans (depending on size)
- Non-potable bore water available onsite (for washing only)
- Dogs welcome at your site on lead around the farm to keep them away from the fields, but off-lead around the campsite
- Nature on your doorstep: wallabies, echidnas, koalas, birdlife
- Close to Goombungee for groceries, fuel, cafes, art gallery & pub
This is a leave no trace camping experience. What you pack in, you pack out.

Seasonal flowering
Our lavender fields are still young and in recovery after flooding, but they’re coming back stronger. Lavender flowers seasonally but even in the off-season, the scent, setting and scenery still make for a memorable stay.

A Note on Farm Life
As a working lavender and herb farm, we may be tending to the fields, in the sheds, or nearby during your stay. You're welcome to enjoy the serenity while we do what we do best: grow something beautiful.
If you'd like to book a workshop experience during your stay, we'd love to show you our passion.
